Mitchell Wayne David, born on September 29, 1958, passed away on Tuesday, December 16th after a short battle with cancer, leaving behind many who loved him and will remember him fondly.

Mitch grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and later made his home in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He enjoyed sports, music, history, tending his garden, and most of all, spending time with friends. His easygoing nature and sense of humor were central to who he was.

Mitch was preceded in death by his father, Jerald David; his mother, Frances Teeter; and his older brother, Johnny David.

He is survived by his twin sisters, Christie Jackson of Parkville, and Carol Woyer of Kansas City; his younger brother, Dan David of Kansas City; his three children: Jessi David, Jamie David of Ozark, and Emily Frame of Claycomo; and his four grandchildren, Kylie David-Berube, Leyna Anderson, Oscar Frame and Raheem Frame.

Mitch will be remembered for his love of life, his friendship, and the many moments of connection he shared with those around him.
