Delores Hickman, Age: 91

In loving remembrance of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, Delores Hickman, who passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at North Kansas City Hospital.
 
Delores was proceeded in death by her Husband William Hickman of 63 years; Brother Clarence Kihn, Sisters Donna Hickman and Leone Mae; Son in laws Kerry Carpenter and Thom Skinner; Grandchildren Lemuel Web, Lisa Bussell, and Jason Powers. 
 
Delores lived a full and meaningful life, deeply cherishing time spent with her family and friends. Though many of her friends proceeded her in death, her family remained her greatest joy and constant source of love.
 
She is survived by her daughters, Diana Carpenter and Sharon Cantu; her grandchildren, Tim and Cindy Skinner, Matt and Kellie Skinner, Elliot and Kim Cantu and Jennifer Powers; and her great-grandchildren, Alex Bussell (SO) Cam, Kate Bussell ( SO) Lluis, McKayla, William, Jenna, Clayton, and Jaylynn Powers, Lily Skinner; Great Great grandchild Jase Powers. 
 
In her final days, Delores remained in the comfort of her own home, as she wished, where she was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Diana Carpenter, and her great-granddaughter, McKayla, who lived with her.
 
Delores found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her family, taking walks in the park, and gathering everyone together for the holidays. Her love, warmth, and presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
