It was an absolute honor to know Wendi and her family. To see the love that poured from everyone to Wendi during her stay in Rehab really spoke volumes of her personality. I'll always remember her smiling eyes laughing at me while I struggled to perform a task. We definitely shared the same humor. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you Jeremy, Zoe and Asa. Knowing Wendi was a pleasure and an honor.

With a heavy heart I would like to tell you I’m sorry. Your mother brought joy to my day every time I walked into work. She was really a friend I wish I had know long before hand. She light up every room she came in. I loved being able to care for her and get to know you guys. She is truly missed. May God bless you in this time. And WENDI my girl please know you were a blessing to me in so many ways. I appreciate all the talks and laughs we shared over the time I’ve known you.

Family isn't always blood. When I married her Uncle Buddy, Wendy was a package deal, and I loved it! Wendy was a pretty big part of our lives. She lived with us off and on for several years. Our own son, Brian, couldn't say Wendy, when he was learning how to talk and called her "WeeWee." I remember the years Wendy and Margi would do overnights at Margi's farmhouse where the Mormon Temple now sits. She had such a huge thing for David Lee Roth, watched MTV hoping one would come on. She was brought up around my niece's and nephew's who to this day will argue that she is, and always will be a cousin to them, and a niece to my brothers. Time passed, the space between us grew, but you will always be a part of my family Wendy. My heart breaks that you are gone.

I had the pleasure to meet Wendi during her work for Baldwin and Vernon Law Firm over several years. Despite her employer being professional adversaries to me, Wendi was the most pleasant, gregarious and friendly person to work with and she was simply, above the acrimony of our work. I grew to like her so much, that I would email her periodically to check in. She teased and laughed and then got to work. What a beautiful person. I’m saddened by the loss of such a wonderful part of our community.

Wendi was so helpful with getting the cats in the area fixed. She was the one who caught Rufus, a neighborhood cat and had him fixed. He now lives on my porch and is one of my regulars. Very thankful to have known her. I'm going to miss going over to the law firm to give her updates! Praying for those she worked with and her family.
