Gene Tritle, 75 of Ellijay Georgia, recently moved to Edwardsville, Kansas in 2025 passed away at his home on January the 5th 2026.

Gene was an avid Ham Radio operator and was a member of the Ellijay Amateur Radio Society and enjoyed talking to people all over the world.  He also enjoyed collecting guns and creating their own grips.  Gene loved to ride Motorcycles with his wife, Linda of 25 years.

Gene was a retired Journeyman Ironworker for Local number 10 and a retired Boilermakers Local 83.  He spent his career as a hard-working construction worker.

Gene was preceded in death by his father, mother, sisters and brother as well as his wife, Linda.  Gene is survived by his brother, Harvey Tritle, daughter, Mistie Taylor (Mike), son, Brent Tritle, Grandchildren, Catrina Walters, (Robert) Alex Cordova, (Clayton) Autumn George, (Jack) Tyler Tritle, (Harley) Chelsea Beebe (Alex) Katelynn George, Dylan Tritle (Skyler).  Gene was also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
