Tammy K. Sandven (Meyer), 64, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 6th, 2026. She was born to Mary (Miller) and Paul Meyer, on Jan. 29th, 1961, in Fort Dodge, IA.

Tammy graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1979. Tammy’s greatest joy in life was being a mother to her daughters and a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren.

She shared her love by coordinating family gatherings with good food and fun games. She will be remembered for her cherished family recipes, sweet and kind spirit, and playful jokes with her grandchildren.

Her family is inspired by the strength, courage, and selflessness she demonstrated throughout her life.

Tammy is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Meyer. She is survived by her father, Paul Meyer, and his wife Gail of Bella Vista, AR; her two daughters, Catherine (Andrew) Steinmetz, of Mapleton, IL; Nicole (Jacob) Schnabel, of Rapid City, SD; and her beloved grandchildren, William and Eleanor Steinmetz. She is also survived by her siblings: Denise (Ed) Hankel, of Blue Springs, MO, Tom Meyer, of San Antonio, TX, Joe (Vicki) Meyer, and Julie (George) Karstens, of Fort Dodge, IA.

Tammy will also be forever remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, details to follow.
