Jacqueline Pearl Kimmel at the age of 94 passed away peacefully at her home in Lee’s Summit, MO on 01-08-2026.
She was born on 08-10-1931 in Chicago, IL to Micheal Tholl and Pearl Ingebretsen.
Mom loved being married to Dad.
She loved telling the story of how they met at a tall girl’s Valentine Day dance. Dad walked up to her, asked her to dance, and didn’t dance with anyone else the whole night. That was the start of their 56 years together and made Valentine’s Day such a special holiday for them! She was a servant to others—always. She volunteered in everything she could; she just loved helping others. As a mother, she loved us with all her heart and soul.
Her days were filled with things of joy: feeding her mockingbirds, cardinals and hummers, working in her garden tending to her peonies and flowers, watching baseball - cheering , bowling and visiting friends…. and she never passed up an opportunity for pizza and beer!
The underlying current in Mom’s life was her faith in God. It gave her peace, comfort, and guided her through her whole life.
She joins her husband Bob, daughter Kristine Lynn and Son-in-law Don Swan in heaven, leaving behind daughters Kimberley Ann (Dan Dillman), Karen Marie (Jeff Dollar) and a son, Roy Christopher (Lisa Kimmel). Her life was blessed with many grandchildren (Tim Pritchett, Caitlin Pritchett, David Dillman, Jonathan Schoenherr, Joey Dollar, Tony Dollar, Daniel Swan, Ryan Kimmel, Matthew Kimmel and Rachel Kimmel-Lau) along with 6 great grandchildren (Laylah, Ronin, Eleanor, Tylan, Blaze and Layne).
