Mary Edna Davidson passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. 

Mary was born on December 23,1952 in Detroit, Michigan to Lucinda Davidson and Timothy Chandler. She spent several years in Florida working, after which she moved to Arizona to be near her son, David. She then returned home to the Detroit area for some years. She spent the last few years in Missouri, near her son.

Mary is survived by three sons: David (Carrie) Davidson, Steve Davidson, and Nathaniel         (Britney) Davidson. Seven grandchildren: Miracle Morant, Alayna Davidson, Leiora Davidson, Nathaniel Davidson, Jr, Jaylen Davidson, Ashley (Nathan) Jones, and Alexis (Ralph) McKinney. Three great grandchildren: Aaliyah Williams, Mason McKinney, and Myles McKinney. Three sisters: Mary Harvey, Delphine (Marty) Starr, and Eliza Lassiter. One special nephew, Kalvia Davidson, plus numerous other nephews and nieces.  And a building full of neighbors who loved her and enjoyed her company. 

The family has chosen not to have services, so in lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
