Angela Marie Sprofera, Age: 80

Sep 15, 1945 - Jan 14, 2026

Angela Marie Sprofera, aged 80,  of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home on January 14, 2026. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Angeline and Steno Morreale on September 15, 1945.

She graduated from Glennon High School in 1964. Shortly thereafter, she married her former spouse of nearly 30 years, Charles Sprofera.

Angela ran an in-home daycare for many years, where she was able to do what she enjoyed most—taking care of little ones. She touched many lives, and even as adults, they hold fond memories of “JuJu.”

Once her own children were grown, she began working outside the home as a cake decorator at Price Chopper, where she retired after many years of service.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a constant presence in their lives and was there for every milestone.

She is survived by her partner, Jerry Adcock; her daughters, Lisa Zeffiro and Dawn Pendleton (Jason); her grandchildren, Danielle (Adam) Shelton, Kayla Zeffiro, Joseph Zeffiro, Logan Pendleton, Tanner Pendleton, and Aiden Pendleton; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Angeline and Steno Morreale.

Per Angela’s wishes, there will be no public services. Donations may be made in her honor to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

As the matriarch of her family, she will be missed greatly.
