Janice Sue O’Connell, 76, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026.
Born on July 23, 1949, Janice lived a life centered on family and friendship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger O’Connell; her parents, John Woodside and Dorothy Magee; her stepfather, Keith Magee; her brother-in-law, Harold Beasley; and a niece.
Janice found happiness in spending time at the lake, tending to her flower gardens, and listening to country music. She treasured playing cards with friends and especially cherished gathering with family during holidays and special occasions. Her warmth, laughter, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Markt; her sister, Jacqueline Beasley; her brother, Steven Woodside (Amy); and several nieces and nephews.
Janice’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
