Jackie Lee Weaver

Jackie Lee Weaver, of Leawood, Kansas, formerly of Maysville, Ky, passed away March 24, 2026. Mr. Weaver was a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He retired in 1991 from the Jack L. Weaver Company, which he founded in 1974. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy attached to the 6th Marines as a medical corpsman. He served in active duty during the Suez Canal crisis in 1956-1957.

He was born in Maysville, Ky on March 16, 1934 to the late Ernest and Mildred White, and was the adopted son of the late Elmer (Pete) and Martha (Mattie) Weaver. He was preceded in death by his wife Roberta (Bobbi) Weaver (Buchanan), formerly of Lexington, Ky. He is survived by his daughters Laura Streeby (James), of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Lisa Weaver of Frisco, Tex., grandchildren, Kristin Satyavelu (Barbour/Clint), Jamie Jensen (Barbour/Tim), Matthew Barbour, and Kathryn Koehler (Streeby/Rhiannon) and great grandchildren Samantha, Garak and Kenny Satyavelu, Paxton and Cooper Jensen and Tylee Barbour.

Mr. Weaver was a life member of Masonic Lodge 52, Maysville, Ky., as well as the Ararat Shrine and Scottish Rites of Kansas City, Mo.

Services are being planned for a future date. Mr. Weaver will be laid to rest in the Bethany Cemetery in Cabin Creek, Ky. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Abandoned Children’s Fund.
