President of Board of Directors ,Kansas City

Dear Miller Family, We wanted to reach out and share our condolences of losing our devoted and valued neighbor, Neil. Neil was recognized as our November 2025 Northfield Village Good Neighbor. Neil’s contributions to our community were truly exceptional. As a dedicated former Board Member, he gave countless hours to the HOA, particularly through his careful oversight of water usage, meter recording, and billing. He was consistently diligent, thoughtful, and supportive—always willing to assist fellow board members and homeowners alike. His efforts did not go unnoticed and were deeply appreciated. Thanks to Neil’s extraordinary documentation and detailed diagrams, his work continues to benefit our community. His legacy will play an important role as we move forward with the Irrigation Committee and continue developing Northfield Village’s systems for years to come. As we look ahead to the next 25 years of Northfield Village irrigation, we will do so with gratitude and remembrance of Neil’s lasting impact. Neil, thank you for your service, dedication, and care for our community. With sincere appreciation, Laurie Virkstis President Northfield Homes Association, Inc.

Dear Jackie, Patrick,Danielle and Shannon and extended family, My loving condolences on the passing of your beloved father, grandfather and brother and uncle. There are not enough words to describe the love, loyalty and service that Neil provided to our family. He was always there to provide assistance and concern without being asked. He frequently sent me literature on health topics and finance. As well as frequent phone calls to keep me abreast of family activities. He was always well informed on a variety of subjects and delighted in sharing that knowledge. He was a true gentleman throughout his life. His devotion to his wife, Marilyn, his daughter, Jackie and his granddaughters, Danielle and Shannon was unwavering. Personally, I will miss our calls and his concern for all of us. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing!
