Thomas “Tom, Dad, Papa”, Serafin 77, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a heroic-hard fought battle with cancer.

A funeral service will be held June 7th, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 10025 West North Ave, Wauwatosa, WI 53226. Visitation from 2:30-3:00, service to follow.

Tom was born on September 7, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Joshua, and his dear mother-in-law, Ruth Tietyen. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Debby; his daughters, Amy and Katelyn; his son, Jason; his cherished granddaughters, Allie, Brittany, and Noura; as well as many dear friends whose lives he touched.

Tom lived a full life deeply rooted in the people he loved. He was a long time motorcycle enthusiast and could always be found working on his motorcycle or car. His family and friends always said that if Tom couldn’t fix it, it could not be fixed. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved vacationing with family and friends and was always up for a trip to Vegas.

His absence leaves a space that will never be filled, but his love and memory will continue to live on through his family and friends.
