Daniel (Da) Lee Nowlin of Lake Lotawana, MO passed away on May 24, 2026.

He was born October 15, 1956. Dan leaves behind Cheryl Nowlin (wife of 46 years), daughter Erica Nowlin and an aunt and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Brett Nowlin. Dan spent most of his career in the aerospace industry working for Cessna Aircraft (Wichita, KS), AlliedSignal (Phoenix, AZ) and General Electric (Winfield, KS).

After 911, Dan elected to pursue a career outside of the aerospace industry and was President of Foster Manufacturing (Springfield, MO) and later VP of Operations for Custom Truck One Source of Kansas City where he ran a manufacturing business in Sedalia, MO until his retirement in 2021.

Dan was a pilot with advanced ratings and enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, boating and BBQing with friends and family. Dan requested no funeral.
