Connie L. Seibolt, born July 2, 1959, to Joseph F. Seibolt and Dolores Seibolt, passed away on June 5, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Connie was the third daughter out of five sisters.
She was a graduate of Bishop Hogan High School, Class of 1977, and carried the friendships and memories from those years with her throughout her life. Connie had a remarkable gift for caring for animals of every kind, and her compassion, gentle spirit, and quiet strength left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A proud and loyal Kansas City Chiefs fan, Connie enjoyed cheering on her team each season and sharing game days with the people she loved.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dolores Seibolt, her niece Rebecca Miller, and her brothers‑in‑law Ernie Miller and Jeff Beckingham.
She is survived by her devoted life partner, Brenda Davis of the home, and her sisters Judy South (Danny), Beth Rhodes (Jim), Patti Seibolt, and Annie Nee (Joel). Connie also leaves behind 5 nieces, 4 nephews, 10 great‑nieces and nephews, and 2 great‑great nephews, along with her extended “country family.” Her final moments were spent in the presence of loved ones, including Brenda, her niece Katie, and her nephew Chris.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Kansas City Hospice for their exceptional kindness and compassionate care during Connie’s final days—especially her nurses, Robin and Annelee.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at American Legion Hall Post 58 on Sunday, July 12th, 2026, from 1–3 PM, located at 2607 State Rte 92, Smithville, MO 64089.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Connie’s lifelong love for nature and animals, the family is requesting donations for a tree to be planted at Smithville Lake by Eagle Landing. More information will be provided at a later time and at the celebration of life.
