Susan Jane Meyer passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, at the age of 75.

Susan was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, love, and warmth touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a caring heart and a gentle spirit that will be remembered always. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and the memories she created with family and friends will live on forever.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Angela Brown and her spouse, Shawn Brown, of Holden, Missouri; her four granddaughters, Venessa VanDyne and Piper Brown, both of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Alexis McCarthy and Jasmine McCarthy of Kansas City, Missouri; and her brother, Steven Meyer of Raymore, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Hobbs; her mother, Barbara Meyer; her father, Charles Meyer; and her brother, James Meyer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at:
