Laura Michelle Shaw Rains

Laurie was born in Newark, Ohio October 6, 1974. After a Prolonged illness, she passed away at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, on July 26, 2026.

She was survived by eleven family, her husband Richard Rains

Son and daughter in law, Alexander and Olivia Rains

Daughter Jacqueline Rains

Son Parker Rains.

Mother and stepfather Debbie and Dave Read

Father and stepmother Bill and Donna Shaw.

Brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Courtney Shaw

Stepsister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Brent Tolbert

Stepbrother and sister-in-law, Caleb and Heather Reed

She was blessed with many other close relatives and friends.
