Richard Henry Schons III, 66, of Prairie Village, KS, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Richard will be remembered by his family and friends as a witty, humble man who loved muscle cars, sports, and cooking. He was known for his famous spaghetti and meatballs. He had a quick sense of humor, enjoyed sharing stories, and was always willing to lend a hand to those who needed him. He was a lifelong Royals and Chiefs fan, in addition to being an OU Sooners fan. Richard not only enjoyed watching and attending sporting events but also loved collecting sports memorabilia and had a passion for sports statistics.
