"Terry Sullivan A Life of Love and Adventure"

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Sullivan, who left us peacefully on August 8, 2026. Born January 3, 1948, in Marshall, Missouri, Terry was a beacon of warmth, kindness and adventure to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Terry was the cherished son of Lois M. Sullivan and James H. Sullivan, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by two sons, Terry Lynn Sullivan and Jason Lee Sullivan. Despite these profound losses, Terry's spirit remained unbreakable, bolstered by the enduring love of his wife, Janette, with whom he shared 29 wonderful years of marriage. United in matrimony on a Valentine's Day in 1997 in Platte City, Missouri, Terry and Janette's relationship epitomized unconditional love and mutual respect.

He also leaves behind a daughter, Amy Jean Sullivan, beloved sister, Loyce Ann Clark Cook, two nieces, one nephew, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A dedicated and hardworking man, Terry spent 33 years as a truck driver, a career he pursued with diligence and commitment. His final five years before retirement were spent with Jack Cooper Transport, where he specialized in hauling new vehicles-a role he performed with great pride.

Beyond his professional life, Terry was a man of diverse interests and passions. His greatest joy was found on two wheels, exploring the back roads and countryside on his motorcycle alongside Janette. The couple cherished these sunlit journeys, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Terry's love for adventure and the open road was matched only by his deep compassion and generosity. Known for his kind-hearted nature, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need.

His family, though deeply morning his loss, takes comfort in the countless memories of joy and laughter they shared.
