Martha Yager, 85, passed in her bed on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 with her loving daughter, Colleen, by her side. She was born in Keytesville, Missouri to Lawrence and Freda Link on September 7th, 1940.
Martha was a caring, loving and giving woman. Her life was a beautiful example of compassion, strength and aways put others before herself. She never knew a stranger. Martha was a highly educated and accomplished woman who dedicated 30 years of her life to Research Medical Hospital. She was knowledgeable and deeply committed to the people she cared for. She had integrity and took pride in the work she did. For those who knew and loved her knew that she had a big heart. Martha had many gifts. She could make you feel comfortable when you were nervous and calm when you were afraid. She could ease the pain when you were hurting. She always knew what to do and say. This made her exceptional as a nurse and made her a perfect mother and grandmother. After retiring she would have the family down to the farm so everyone could enjoy hunting and fishing.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband (Paul).
She is survived by her Daughter (Colleen), Son (Michael and wife Lelia), Son Jeffery, Brother (Paul), Brother (Jerry and wife Martha) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 from 1-3 pm at the Church of the Nazarene in Grandview, Missouri.
